SUMMARY: Mulder realizes that Scully loves him. ------------------------------------ She Loves Me Written by: Erin M. Blair ------------------------------------ I love the way Scully gazes into my eyes; the way she can feel my heart. I know she loves me. I can see it in her eyes -- those deep pools of blue which I want to drown myself in. Her eyes are so blue, so wet, and so beautiful. I want her. I have known this ever she walked into my basement office and she shook my hand. When I felt her hand, there was an electricity that passed between us. I knew then that she was the one for me. The passion I felt for her that day still exists to this very day. I love her. Does she love me? I gaze into her eyes again. I love the way we make love with our eyes. It warms my heart, and I know it must warm her heart, too. When she had cancer, I knew what I needed to do. I needed to find some way to save her from the cancer. In the end, I did. I infiltrated the Pentagon using a dead man's ID to find her the chip. I don't know what ultimately saved her life -- it could have been her faith, the chip, or her desire for us to continue our path together. I don't know. I still don't know what caused her remission from cancer. The news from Scully's doctor has been promising: there hasn't been a recurrence of the cancer. I'm so happy for her. I'm so happy that we could go the path together. "Mulder?" she said to me just now. "What?" "There's something I need to tell you. I think I'm in love with you," said Scully with a smile. Her smile was as bright as a Christmas tree decorated with lights and ornaments. All I wanted to do was to shout the news to the heavens: Scully loves me! She loves me; she really does love me. "I love you, too. You don't know how much I love you, Scully," I told her. I felt my lips turn upward to the sky to form the brightest smile. I pulled her close to me. I wanted to embrace her, to feel our heartbeats as they united as one. "You've made me the happiest man alive, Scully." "Mulder, being with you have always made me the happiest woman alive. Don't forget that," she said. I knew I wouldn't ever forget the love we both share together. -- the end -- Feedback: Yes, please.
