Anniversary Trust

Thirteen years. 

I can't believe that we've known each 
other that long. 

Trust. 

I remember the time that I decided not 
to immediately trust Scully. 

When I received word that Dana Scully would 
become my partner all those years ago, I thought 
she was some sort of spy. Little did I know how 
wrong I was. I fell for her beauty and her 
intelligence. She was able to stand up and  
debate her side of the argument effectively 
alongside my own. 

She was so smart. 

Although she wore that plaid suit, she looked like 
a red haired angel, perfect for me in every way. I 
wanted to touch her from that day on. I wanted to 
see if my dreams were coming true with her in my life. 

She trusted me from the start. 

It was the next day when I sat in a darkened hotel 
room, telling her my life story up to that point. I was 
so innocent then. I looked into her eyes and I saw 
the trust. I knew that she would not spy on me. 

I knew Scully was the woman for me, the one whom 
I could love.

I still trust her to this very day. 

Always.
