Blair + + + + + + + + + + + + + + Scully was in her ninth month of pregnancy, feeling cranky after an afternoon filled with one problem after another. First, she misplaced the recipe for quick and easy shrimp skewers with a curry dipping sauce for that night's dinner and then, sixteen-month-old, William knocked over her laptop. She picked it up and inspected it. From what she could tell, it was dead. Although she knew the mysteries of the human body, she didn't think of herself as one with oodles of computer knowledge. She groaned. This wasn't what she had planned. She wanted a romantic evening with Mulder. She was going to make dinner and a gorgeous cherry pie with whipped cream on top. Then the visual image gave her a smile of what she was planning to do after they tucked William in for the night -- that is, if they could get him to sleep. She was going to try to lick the cream off him, while he wore his boxers, later while kissing him. Mulder walked in. "Scully? Everything all right?" "It was so-so. William knocked over my laptop. I misplaced the recipe for tonight's dinner." "Oh, no! Your laptop? Is it dead?" She sighed. "I think it is, but you might want to take it to the Gunmen to see if they can fix it." Mulder took her in his arms and then he kissed his wife's lips. He loved being close to her, smelling the baby powder slightly masking her floral scent was a complete joy to him. "We can take it to them tomorrow, but I think it's imperative to fix our day." He paused. "We can still have our time together tonight - alone. Pretty soon our baby girl will be born and then we will have even more sleepless nights." "Hopefully, she won't be as colicky as William was when he was a newborn." "I just hope she meets us soon." ~~~~~ The End ~~~~~
